I always figured at some point in life, people will not be pushed around anymore. But nooooooo.... never did i knew that I would get backstabbed in college. Well actually, its not so much as being backstabbed as it is actually being talked about. But still, its is just so f*cking annoying. I mean, don't these assholes have anything else to do other than picking on poor innocent people. They keep on making the lives of these people miserable.
Yah, I admit that I'm kinda quite and shy but hey, people are still people ya know, they have feelings (something they obviously don't have). Everyone is in a way unique and have their own characterictics.
There is this 'person' in college who calls my name and then acts as if he didn't do it at all. I mean come one! Doesn't he have the guts to just tell me in my face what the hell he wants? People like these, or should I say, low-lives like these should just get a life or a hobby like stabbing thenselves or something. I wish he would just get the hell out of my life. Just because they are more popular and richer than us, do they have to exert their 'power' and influence all over the place. These sons of a b*tches and those useless sluts are just so f*cked up up to the point that by looking at one of them makes me wanna grab my intestinal tract, pull it out through my mouth and choke myself to death. I absolutely detest, hate and loathe every microcentimeter of their pathetic existence. If I had the chance, I'd love to make those dund asses suffer for all they have done. Damn them. DAMN THEM ALL !!!!!!!!!!!!! Those no good SONS OF A B*TCHES should be ROTTING in HELL!!!

Recap
Wow, its been quite long since I updated this page and I'm glad to inform you guys that i'm still alive!!!
Anyways, the last couple of days has been pretty hectic for me. So much to do!!! Friday was the day Karen left for Switzerland. She's gone there to do hospitality management or something related to that. I guess it must be her passion to do this, since she's been bragging about her ablility to cook. Her apple pie's not all that bad though.
Jeremy, Wye Sern, Mei Zhi, May and Rachel kinda went to the airport in the evening to send her off... me too of course! We made a gift for her: it was kinda like a photo album with our pictures in it and we put some stuff that we wrote like an autograph book thing. Sweet really...well duh, since it was my idea. Anyways, i'm definitely gonna miss her. Infact most people are going to miss her bubbly & crazy personality here in INTI. Goodbye Karen!!! *Sob..sob*

- Karen and I

- At the airport, receiving our gift
- That's us at INTI giving her a shout out: We Will Miss You!!
Ok right, then the weekends were normal again, went out shopping (the Mega Carnival is back!!!) and for a movie with Zhi Xiang and Kah Whai. Just My Luck was quite good. It was a typical romance story which must have been recycled but with Lindsay Lohan's charm it made the film kinda worth watching :)
This week.. well actually yesterday night was INTI's very own International Night '06!! Really fun coz' all the international students donned their traditional costumes and stuff and set up these booths and like show to us their country and culture and stuff. Though i think it was more like a cultural fiesta or something. The event was sponsered by INTI itself so I had to pay nothing! muahaha...
I got to try Arabic coffee (tastes like ginger), some rice dish thingy, indian food, mongolian cookie (very hard and sour), and a whole other bunch of foods!!! But since they were only in small amounts, I wasn't full at all. INTI called for catering service though :) but the food was not really nice. I took pictures with some of the international students and friends. There were even a couple of performances but I didn't stay for the whole night since I had to travel like 30 minutes to go back. Reallt great time but becoz there were so many Middle Eastern people, I felt like it was more of an Arabian night than international night...

- indian decoration thingy (what do you call this?)
-sampling a rice dish...oh and that's my name in Arabic (cool huh!)
- a student from Jordan or Yemen (i'm not sure)

- May and I with Mongolian students (that Mongolian girl is so damn tall and pretty!!)
I guess that's all folks! Next week is my study break and then it's my Trials dee...arghhhh!!!!!!!!

sucky saturday
Its just another typical Saturday mornin'. I woke up, cleaned up, grabbed a bite and did my laundry. Yes...I do my own laundry! Anyways, moving on... everything was going on as it was supposed to be on a Saturday afternoon until......
Well, later I headed to the Bon Odori celebrations in the Brown field where it was held. I wasn't planning to go there in the first place since I have encountered muddy scenarios at the esplanade field. But again this year I was greeted with the same thing. I guess its like traditional to have Bon Odori in a big muddy field.
Bon Odori is like a giant muddy-sweaty-laughter affair. There were so many people there. Never did I know that the teenage population in Penang was soooo HUGE!! There were teens everywhere, with girls beind scantily clad and guys all dressed up. I did get to meet up with some of my intinarians but the road to meeting them was not easy at all. Not to mention calling people from the field was near impossible. I guess it must have been some line disruption since a lot of people were using their cell phones as well.
As I expected, I ended up not buying, playing or even eating anything due to the amount of people who were thronging each and every freakin' shop. And oh, plus not to mention, the amount of mud present beneath my shoes!!!!
In the end, Alvin, Chris and I got out of there and headed to dinner. And here's the irony, we went to eat Japanese food...

Rich kid, Poor kid
What I have noticed in college is the social segregation. It is most obvious during lunch and break times. This is when most of the wealthy students walk about, strutting their exorbitant handbags, branded clothing and perfectly coloured hair. Its when the gucci mama's and armani daddies come out and play.
It is quite obvious that most of these rich kids are only taking education for granted. Probably because they need not work for their entire future and yet they will be so much better off than others. These are the people who usually arrive in college loaded with all the latest gadgets. Mornings in INTI are like car shows. Mercedes, BMWs, Volvos, you name it, they've got it. Not only that, they barely concentrate in class and end up playing with their latest tech gadgets and cellphone games. It tends to be distracting especially when they start to dangle their PSPs and iPod videos in front of you while you are trying to memorize the structural formula of ethylene glycol and its uses.
Its just so frustrating to know that they will never know the meaning of hardship like you know it.
Not only that, they make it look like college life is so easy. However, most of them do not do so well in their subjects. But who cares, when they can just take the same course again the next semester or the next year, whereas we are working our asses off until our brain melts, just so we can achieve the best of grades. Furthermore, they even ditch classes whenever they like it while we have to endure an hour and a half of listening to a lecture on pathogenic diseases.
But after a while, or should I say about five months, I've actually gotten accustomed to it. Costly things being flaunted in front of me has become a daily routine. It might have bothered me at first but I'm kinda numb to it.
I have to say that the movie Mean Girls really depicts the situation in colleges, where social division is the norm, people prance about in scanty clothing (only barely true), gossiping is practically a religion (absolutely true) and the rich are always bitchy and are a$$holes (partially true 'coz I know people who are rich and are considerably good hearted).
