The one with the porche

Yes that's right...yes it's me...and yes that's a porche and no your eyes have not disillusioned you. Pretty cool ain't it. I could hardly believe it too when me dad brought it back (brought not bought!) He lent this baby from somewhere and I totaly got to ride in it!!!! It was like uber-cool. Like even the speed-o-meter thingy reaches up to like 300kmph!!! I was like 'son of a b*tch!!' My first time in a porche. What a day!
I wish, I wish I could ride it again. It was top notch. But of course, all good things must come to an end. And at the end of the day, dad took it back to where it came from. It was just taken away. One minute it was right in front of my eyes and the next, it was whisked away...it's..just horrible...y' know...I mean...I didn't even...get to say goodbye!...Just gone...just like that...
Ok..ok, anyways, the rest of the week just flew by. Lecturers taught and blabbered, lunches were eaten, money was spent, lame jokes were made up and oh...I went to watch a movie with my friends: Mei Zhi, Yong, Sern, Rachel, Miranda and Ken. We watched the Devil Wears Prada. Awesome movie. The plot was alright but I guess the best reason to watch this movie is coz' of the clothes and other stuff worn by the actors. But, I really taught it was great!
Finals in two weeks: ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

snake - a poem

seconds trickle into minutes
minutes into hours
and so on so forth
typical things happened
and some not so conventional
things have not been well of late

blindly-walking, i am
just drifting with the current
following the non-ending waves
which swell into immense proportions
which is too overwhelming

things have changed
tables have been turned
but not for the better good
the future reeks of pandemonium
the stench of betrayal
the odour of unfriendly gossip
and the smell of death

i can no longer see my facade
as it is being stripped away
piece by piece
slither by slither
like a hideous puzzle
leaving a hollow being whose true colours show
colours which converge on a canvas of disgust
like an invitation
to humiliation
to mockery
to isolation

why don't you laugh
and laugh you shall
but i'll have the last guffaw as you're just like me
you know who you are
it's obviously thee
thy inconsiderate prick of unworthyness
may you be beheaded
and fall into a pit filled snakes
just like the snake you truly are

Unfortunate Rendezvous

I got into a car accident the other day in jelutong. It was my first time I was ever in such a serious case. Kinda sucks. Well, it happened when I kinda got distracted when I was driving, and then the person in front of me had a sudden break and I ended up crashing into his rear. The bumper of his wira caved in and my hood of my car got kinda bent. I called my father and since he was in the vicinity, he came to help me. Dad paid the guy like $250. Currently, my car is at a workshop under restoration. So, I can't go out for like a week or something.
The accident scared the crap out of me. I don't think I will drive the same way again:
-I will not drive too closely
-I will try not to speed
-I will try to avoid going to places that i'm not familiar with

I'm no longer shaken up as I was on the day. My hands like couldn't stop shivering. I like have this new awakening. I now see life as a fragile thing which could just end in a snap. i just wanna take a moment to mention all those who helped me overcome this incident, my parents for being so understanding, my friends, Ivan, Jeff, Chris and Zhi Xiang for sharing their experiances and Wye Sern, Loo Hoang and Mei Zhi for being so calm during the incident. To all drivers: Drive safely.

The Look

I just miss KL so much. I know I like just went 4 days ago but I just feel 2 days really isn't enough to satisfy my pangs of hunger for 'lepaking'. I think I really need to get over this holiday mood that i'm still partially in. It's just shocking to think that i'm already into my third week of classes and to think there is only so little time left until my finals. Okay, apart from that, I just wanna express myself about something that's been buggin' me lately, so here goes:
Whoever said that looks aren't as important as what's inside is absolutely crapping ( I don't mean to sound distasteful, but bare with me). It is absolute bullsh*t. Beauty is just as important and sometimes more crucial than what's inside. In our materialistic world, nobody cares about how kind you are or how much charity you've done. It's all about how you project yourself. Not only is it about the clothes you wear, it's also about your hairstyle, your watch, your cellphone, what bag you use, which Nike collection you own, etc, etc. Beauty is no longer skin deep, it goes way further down than that.
I read this from an article, about the 3 second rule. That's about the time needed for one person to take a look at you and make a lasting impression about you, and this will be indelible unless you prove him or her wrong. Just imagine the amount of strangers you see each day and that totals up to a lot of first impressions made about you. It scares the crap outta me!!!

I mean, seriously, think about it: before a person even knows you, he already has this perception about you. Before you can even flash a smile at him/her, that person may have already think about you as some perverted creep!
Everything nowadays is all about The Look. If you don't got it, you'll be cast away like some outdated has-been. For example, at a job interview, people with good looks might have the upper hand compared to their unfortunate counterparts.
Fashion influences people a lot. However I don't feel it as much here as I am living in Penang and people here are not as better dressed as let's say, people from KL (thank goodness). But a word of advice to the fellow people, you don't have to always follow trends. Think of the amount of money you would have to spend if you were to update your wardrobe every new season. Know what you look good in and ask for others' opinions. Wear what you like as long as it suits the occasion and is decent enough. It's always better to be overdressed than get caught underdressed.
I'm kinda having a headache now, so if what I said does not make any sense to you, just scratch what I said from your thoughts. That's all.

My little trip

Uh huh, that's KL alright. I soo adore KL. Not because of its traffic jams, or its hazy weather, but its HUGE malls. And plus its MEGA BLOWOUT SALES!!!!! It was a short trip though I went there with my parents during Merdeka and came back the very next day. I was like looking forward to the trip and now it's over dee...haih.
Let's see, we only had time for 2 malls which are 1-utama and suria klcc. Awesome places but I think 1-utama is a bit too large and complicated, it's like I sometimes don't really know whether I'm in the new or old wing. I walked around there until my kaki nearly patah dee...sad case. But I did buy a bunch o' stuff! I only bought things which were on 50% discount and above, well, most of the stuff had about that much discounts anyway. I even got this membership card from Topman coz I like spent above.....umm.....a certain amount and I was entitled to get one, so..yay!
The next day before I arrived, my parents and I went to this place called Tambun, I think. Apparrently it's renowned for seafood. We were searching for a place to eat and we saw several restaurants which were like quite big and bright and clean but they were practically empty. Ironically the ones which were flodded with people were those which were dim, small and slightly unhygenic. So, we picked the latter. Great food!!
And now i'm back home. Earlier today had Maths replacement class which was kinda a drag cos I didn't get to enjoy my sleep. Black rings all over my eyes dee..crap

-Suria KLCC's roof

-Merdeka spirit!

-Some stuff I bought

PS: I swear everything i bought was on discount...except for this book "A Million Little Pieces" which JEFFREY MATTHEWS asked me to buy it for himself. HAPPY JEFF? I mentioned you in this blogpost...muahaha
