Not Unlucky

As you all know, today's Friday the 13th. But I so far I haven't been unlucky. But I don't really believe in these things anyway. So things are going fine. Taking 'em slowly a day at a time. Read, read, read...watch, watch, watch...eat, eat, eat. Normal things.

I'm heading down to KL tomorrow. Checking things out here and there. It's not going to take long so i'll be back on Sunday night. Arghh...thinking about the 4 hours it takes just to get there makes me sick. As usual, my parents and I would be crashing over at my cousin's place in Sri Hartamas. I'm totaly not looking forward to this trip coz I know I can't buy anything since i've already passed my spending limit. Haih...damn. Kinda sucks.

So off to KL then!

And fyi to the cherished readers out there...since i'm not exactly in an educational institution right now, i'll probably be posting less. It's just 'coz there are fewer experiances for me to narrate. Either that or i'll just post random crap up here to supress boredom.

Movie Friday

Friday was movie day again. Zhi and I decided to catch some random flick and I suggested 'The Hitcher'. Evidently, the movie is a remake of the 1986 movie of the same title. Now, having not watched the original movie, I have no frame of comparison. But in my opinion, the movie was watchable. It's there to entertain not to garner awards. Staring Sean Bean and the sexy Sophia Bush, this thriller/horror is fairly okay with it's share of 'boo' moments. The only reason I wanted to watch it was because Sophia Bush was the lead actress. Her acting wasn't very great but it wasn't bad either. But it's Sophia...who would complain?

In the end I was quite surprised that I didn't shut my eyes throughout the movie (which I usually do many times when watching a horror flick). HAHA! I guess this might be a stepping stone to go on and watch more horror movies. Well, not for now anyway...I was a bit paranoid while I was driving home after the movie. I kept making sure my car doors were locked. Hehe.

Next weekend I might be headind down to KL to check out colleges. But Mei Zhi recently told me her friend who happens to be in the college i'm interested in declares that the course is hell. Kinda making me nervous here but I would rather be in said hell than not study at all. But what happens...happens...

Bad Laundry Day

Note: If you don't do laundry, then don't bother to read this.

Yesterday was laundry day for me. It all went well with the colours but the HUGE problem occured when I was washing the whites. I accidentally left this dark green garment in with the rest of the whites. And now, a few of my white t-shirts are STAINED! STAINED I TELL YOU!! And now I have to try and bleach the damn stains out. But thank god the stained t-shirts are my pj's. But still, just the thought of the stain is just...arghhh...agitating. And to further fuel my fury, I think I may have misplaced one sock. CRAP.

STAINED! Damn you SEED!

Other than that, i'm heeding Ivan's advice to think it thoroughly before deciding on whether I should take up a job. But I honestly enjoy my current regime of waking up, making breakfast, reading my book and watching some TV and just coursing through the day like a vagabond.

Untitled

Everything's just swell in Penang. Good old Penang. Nothing beats the comfort of your own hometown, eh?...where everything is familiar...where people know your name. Seremban was an experiance...well actually it's barely an experiance, but i'm just really glad that that's over now.

There are some things from my 3-week stay in Seremban which I will remember. My first time in the commute, my first chicken rice ball in Malacca, my first time in a pasar malam (I know). And there are some things I wish to forget:

~Damn line to get on the commute

~Damn amount of people in the LRT

~Weird comforter. Who would use a comforter with ants crawling all over it?!

Anyway, that's all over now. I'm glad to be back. Infact today, I just went out with Mei Zhi for lunch and a little catching up. And several days ago, got together with Ivan and Al. And also Jeff...which reminds me, the movie we watched, 'Stomp the Yard' was awesome. Dance movements and all. But the plot is predictable. I can't help but see it coming.

People have been asking about what I am gonna do for my future studies, and the answer is still vague. I have a few options, but they are kinda still on the drawing board. So, i'm not revealing it yet for fear of dissappointment not only to myself. It's tough when you're not bright. Sigh. But since the college/uni intakes are in July, i'm considering taking up a class (any recommendations?) or maybe find a part-time job (Oh please, don't sound so shocked!). But other than that, it's like i'm finally getting the 5 month break I would have enjoyed, had I gone to Form 6.

Addicted

I'm absolutely addicted to the new Hilary Duff song 'With Love'. It's a damn great song! Recently released about a month ago, it's the second single from her spankin' new album 'Dignity'. I totally gotta get it once it hits Malaysian shores!

Apparently, the video clip doubles as her commercial ad for her recently launched fragrance 'With Love...Hilary Duff''. Unfortunately I haven't seen it yet coz' i've been deprived of my MTV. Anyway, here are the lyrics:

With Love
Hilary Duff
Dignity

I don't mind you telling me what's been on your mind lately
I don't mind you speaking up
I know sometimes I can be all wrapped up and into me
I can be in such a rush
Just slow me down, slow me down
Tell me tomorrow everything will be around
Just slow me down, slow me down
You're the one who keeps me on the ground

Baby, you can be tough
Say enough is enough
You can even be blunt
Just do it with love, love, love
You can tell me I'm wrong
That I'm coming on way too strong
Don't think I'd be crushed
Just do it with love, love, love, love
Just do it with love, love, love, love
Just do it with love.

I can take your honesty, all your words sway heavenly
Listening to you all the time
I wanna be there for you, the way you've been there for me
Always help me walk the line
And slow me down, slow me down
I know you will always be around

Baby, you can be tough
Say enough is enough
You can even be blunt
Just do it with love, love, love
You can tell me I'm wrong
That I'm coming on way too strong
Don't think I'd be crushed
Just do it with love, love, love, love

All this trying to find we know each other
Now that I've been leaning on your shoulder
I can tell you baby that
You're right, you're right
You're wrong, you're wrong
And I can't believe people know your song

Baby, you can be tough
Say enough is enough
You can even be blunt
Just do it with love, love, love
You can tell me I'm wrong
That I'm coming on way too strong
Don't think I'd be crushed
Just do it with love, love, love, love

Baby, you can be tough
Say enough is enough
You can even be blunt
Just do it with love, love, love
You can tell me I'm wrong
That I'm coming on way too strong
Don't think I'd be crushed

Just do it with love, love, love, love
Just do it with love, love, love, love
Just do it with love.
Just do it with love, love, love, love
Just do it with love.

Reporting Live: Seremban, Negeri Sembilan

I'm here! I'm finally here! Seremban...well actually Senawang, but Seremban is only like 15minutes away. As I said before, i'm here to accompany my sister on her work trip. >insert angelic expression here<

- I think the picture above shows the heart of Seremban. This street would be what Penang Road is to Penang. And by the way, I just found out that there is Seremban 1, Seremban 2 and Seremban 3. Yes...3 Serembans, but they are all like next to each other. But the picture above is in Seremban 1. It kinda looks like Penang dun it?

- Here is what Seremban is renowned for: Seremban Siew Pau. Seremban just would not be Seremban without it! And of course it's delicious.

Anyways, here are some pictures of my home for the next 3 weeks. It's called the Spanish Villas and it's loacted in Senawang. It's perched on a little mound so it has a view of the surrounding hills and it's got wonderful facilities like a swimming pool, a gym and a tennis court. Here are some pictures:

- This is the living room where the TV is located (DUH) and that's the balcony.

- This is supposedly the master bedroom where my sis and I sleep. And that's the attached bathroom.

~The second room this is. And we converted it into our luggage storage place.

- The kitchen, equipped with a stove, microwave, kettle and storage space.

- The dining area and that's the kitchen at the back. The door on the left is the entrance and the one straight ahead leads to the other balcony where there is a washing machine.

Personally, I think this is a really great place at a reasonable price. There are 3 bedrooms in total with 2 single beds in each one and one more single bed in the living room and that equal to 7 beds! One for every night of the week! Hehe. There are 2 bathrooms so we decided to reserve one for baths and another one for number one and number two! Gotta be smart people! The bad thing about the place is that if there is a heavy rain with really strong winds...the ceiling in the kitchen leaks (I found that out on Monday). And there is NO INTERNET CONNECTION! FYI: If I sound like some realtor, it's unintentional...

- And lastly, this is the swimming pool with a fantastic view of rolling hills in the background! Damned that I didn't bring along my swim attire...but I'll get one soon enough!

Tomorrow, I plan to head down to Kuala Lumpur which is about an hour away via the train. And then will meet up with Ivan and go around shopping! Yay! So gotta get up bright and early tomorrow and find my way there on my own since my sister has work. I really really hope I don't get lost and end up in like Ipoh or something.

Selamat Tinggal!

It's official, as of tomorrow I will be going to KL and then to Seremban where I would be staying for about 3-4weeks. My sister would be working and as for me...that is yet to be determined. But I have a brief objective of what I want to do there:
  • Explore Seremban (never been there and will probably never go there again)
  • Find a way to get to KL (the KTM might be the best way)
  • Deliver package to Ivan (you owe me big time!)
  • And lastly...enjoy myself.

The scary thing about this trip is that I don't really know what to expect! I don't know whether I will come back to Pg every other weekend or if there is a decent laundry area and for Christ's sake I don't even know where i'll be staying yet!!! Apparently, it's difficult to find a place to stay...actually a cheap place to stay which is available on such short notice. So whatever happens...HAPPENS.

Yesterday was alright. Mohan threw this farewell party since he'll be leaving for India to study medicine. The FOOD was great! Really good. I had like 2 helpings! I didn't stay long coz the others had school today and I had to fetch Jeff home. But still it's nice to see so many friends together again. I have pictures...but I can't seem to find my USB cable (damn it...I hope I didn't lose it).

Anyways, I will try my best to update my blog while in Seremban if I can locate myself a Starbucks or some other hotspot. And i'll try to post pictures too! So, see you in Seremban!!!

Over and out.
