Ramblings of an insane mind

Okay, so i'm back here sooner than I would've thought but I need some rest from "studying". Okay, fine I admit it! I'm totaly screwing it up! But it's not like I want to do badly or anything. It's not deliberately done. I didn't choose to do it...okay fine, I kinda did choose...but...okay, you know what, don't listen...or in this case read, what i'm insanely rambling about.
Anyways, going on to more sane topics, I ran into Wei Hong today in 1-stop while I was having my post-lunch-pre-snack meal. Really great to catch up with thing that have been going on with him and Eugene(he was there too). Good for me too coz he provided me a lift home. Hehe
On a total seperate subject, someone says that his friend says that her friend says that someone in my college likes me. ME! Can you believe it. ME! Little old, low esteemed me! Okay, maybe it might not be like as in 'like' like ya know, but it's still something when others have positive opinions about you. I won't go into detail about this issue. I kinda sound proud don't I. But believe me, i'm not...well maybe a little...I mean I am unique, perhaps even admirable. Oh my god, will someone just PLEASE STOP ME from rambling crazily!!! Tie me up, gag me or something, I am outta control here!!! Something is wrong with me today! I think I must be high or something.
Right. Let's see, other than that...umm...oh yeah, Alvin came to my home today. Let me rephrase that, Alvin came UNINVITED to my home today. No offence, but he like just called me up and said "Hey, i'm at your doorstep, please let me in." I did just get out of bed, but being the 'kind' person that I am, I let him in. We talked, chatted and Alvin toyed with the boundaries of normal social conduct when he wanted to seduce my magazines. I think he was high too.
Yup, great day considering I hadn't planned anything originally. Yesterday was fun too, I studied a little and hung out with Zhi Xiang in the evening. Stormbreakers would have been an entertaining show if it wasn't for the damn couple with their stupid kids crying all over the place. Man! You'd think they'd shut the hell up but nooooooooo, they let them run loose all over the cinema like little urchins beyond self control. If I got the chance, i'd whack the tears outta them!...WHACK!
Here's a poem I wrote dedicated to my business studies exam and to further prove that there is indeed a screw loose in my head:

~*~
Ode to an Exam
by Justin K.
I am in stress,
i feel depressed,
i'm in a mess,
i need some rest.
Business studies,
ain't something i'd miss,
need my buddies,
to help me get through this.
Still in this rut,
not yet a nut,
nearly loosing my gut,
so get off my butt.

Oh yeah, to Wye Sern, Khang May and me sister:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Finals

Hey again, finals are here dee! Kinda killing myself here with all the reading and refreshing up what has been taught to me over the past 10 months. Gotta tell ya: NOT easy. So far, only my English paper has passed. One down, 4 more to go. So I might not be posting much over the next 3 weeks. All that i'm hanging on is the taught that by the time the finals are over, I will have several weeks of 'lepaking', shopping and general merriment!!!

The HSC finals are not as easy as I thought it would be. Like I didn't completely finish all the questions in the English paper 1 because of the time constraint and the fact that I write too damn slow. Paper 2 was no joke too, I only managed to write about nearly two pages for each of the 2 essays. The listening paper was a surprise coz' it was an interview and the interviewee was none other than celebrity chef, Kylie Kwong! Good interview...pretty good.

Sad to say, Business Studies is next on Thursday and I definitely do not want to screw this up! It's one of those subjects that I like learning. I'm glad to say that I don't regret taking on Business as one of my subjects coz not only is it a whole new thing to me, but it's interesting to learn about the concepts and workings that go into a business.

The last couple of days, it's really a bitch just gettin' around Penang. With all these KL-lites here and also the petty people from other states jamming into our streets, it's like everywhere you go there is this queue waiting! Like today in Gurney plaza...it seemed to me as though it was a weekend with the amount of people swarming the bloody place. Jeesh!

Nothing much to say until the end of my finals or when I do find some free time to blog.
By the way, a very Happy Deepavali to all me Indian friends and Selamat Hari Raya my fellow Malays! And yes, I mean you, Mohan, Jeff and Farid!

The one on the last day

Classes are over! Yup, but it's not all joy yet, nope. This only means the finals are drawing closer than ever. This Friday is my first of the many more days of finals to follow. My exams officially end on the 10th of November. The subjects i'm taking are: English(Paper1, 2 and Listening), Mathematics 2 units, Business Studies, Biology and Chemistry. So much stuff to read up!!! Crap. But luckily, the papers are spread out evenly, so like I don't have two papers one day after another.
It's just so tough to study these days with all the distractions around me. I've got the TV, the computer, the magazines and of course, Gurney Plaza which is only about 5 minutes walk away! Studying is just so stressful and arduous that I tend to not do it at all, but the more I avoid it, the more i feel guilty and the more I actually want to study. It's just a vicious cycle isn't it?
The last days of classes were great, our chemistry lecturer was no longer on a scolding rampage and our bio lecturer spent her last lessons with us talking and chatting. Business and Math lecturers were all about taking pictures and English...well she practically didn't turn up at all. The whole week, most teachers were just basically drilling us as much as we can take. And I think it's pretty effective...if you did pay attention of course...I think I did...maybe. Everyone like brought their cameras and just started snapping away on the last day itself, disregarding some of the ongoing lessons, but our lecturers were understanding too :) I'm sooo gonna miss you guys at Inti...

-photos that we were snapping all over the place.

Nothing much more to do now but to sleep, shit, snack, study and shop...oops, scratch that last one. All this tension building up is bound to make me go boinkers dee. So much info to absorb. So little time. All the stress is bound to have an impact on my health and skin. Double crap! Can anyone spare me an anti-depressant...no?...a tranquilizer maybe?

The one with the party

The month of halloween is upon us but unfortunately, here it's not much of a celebration for us is it? Guess not. Anyways, these few days were the same as any other. Homework, hanging out, homework, reading, homework...you know the drill. But it's all coming to an end. This week is like the last week for us HSC-rians at INTI 2006. I really can't believe that we've made it so far. Finals are just days away but what scares me more is the fact that my journey into university life is also coming closer. Then, I shall venture into adulthood, and soon, I might be working...who knows. Then, my life will whisk me by as I begin to age......WHY!!!....WHY GOD!!!....why are you doing this....why are you making me soo old!!! Let others grow old, but not me....NOT ME!!! I want to be a teen FOREVER!!! I DON'T wanna be old like others. No offence though for the people I know who are 20.
Well, let''s put that aside, right! Okay, so last week was fun. There was this mooncake/farewell/BBQ party at the INTI hostel. The girls just made plans to have it kinda like an impromtu thing. But it was great. Food...okay, couldn't expect much for $6 each. But I guess the water splashing extravaganza was the BEST. So long never play like this dee. Just chucking pails of water at your "enemies". Best feeling you could ever get. Got me drenched all the way.
And about two days ago, on Saturday, I kinda went out with a bunch of friends for dinner, movie and supper. And man...can those guys eat!!! But I was quite the competitor too. Stuffed myself pretty much too. Like the other day when I went out with Jeff, I ate a hotdog, a huge rootbeer, a pack of fries and a waffle with two generous scoops of ice cream! I'm not surprised if I packed on a kilo or two. Anyways, back to that night, the movie ended like about 2am and we headed off to supper. Kelvin drove us to this indian/mamak place, and I had this chicken tikka thing. We ended up chatting up to like 3.45 and I got home about 4am!!! Damn! The next day, I woke up at like 4pm!!! I tink it was like the latest I'd ever woken up. But I didn't wake up on my own...I received a call from Karen and that was what really woke me up. It was like soo nice to hear from you. I know you've been trying to reach me like all week but you finally caught me that day...hehe.
And now here I am, with a stack of laundry to do (since I didn't get the chance to do it on Sunday due to my waking up late) and it's a Monday night. I just thank God that tomorrow's a holiday. At least I get to catch up on a couple of things.

-Don't let it eat my brains...arghhhhhhhhh!!!!!
