Looking forward to Monday

Okay, so i've been pretty caught up with an assignment which dues on Monday and i'm glad that it's more or less finally completed. It's the superhero bodysuit thingy which i've mentioned in one of the previous entries and which i've bitched about to a few people. It's a group project (my group consists of Kar Weng, Kairi, Jon & Me) which requires us to innovate a body suit for a superhero of our choice. The criteria includes:
- the suit must cover at least 50% of the body.
- the suit must be constructed of only one material, 2 at the most.

We think judging will be mostly based on how the suit co-relates to the superhero's lifestyle and also the methods of construction. Our group made a body suit for Wolverine of the X-Men.

We decided to use metal (which turned out to be a bitch to work with and is freakin' expensive). So, we had to use ONLY materials made from metal including wire mesh, metal sheets, wires and etc. All the cutting and bending and slicing has caused cuts and scrapes on all of our hands and this is mostly caused by the wire mesh which is extremely sharp.

Come Monday, a model from each group (our group model: Jon) will have to don the suit and parade it down a make-belief runway in the college's public area for judging by our lecturers while the rest of us looks on in...well...i'll tell you when it happens. I'll make sure to snap a few shots.

Meanwhile, I hope Jon grows a thicker layer of skin by Monday otherwise...God bless him.
